             abstract = "The observation of the changes in the landscape is a important way 
                         to understand the future tendencies and impactes of the human 
                         action over de environment and to do the planning. Now a days the 
                         monitoration of the landscape is done by using remote sense and 
                         GIS. So this article brings a monitorament in land use of a huge 
                         industry (COMPERJ) and its impacts over the landscape, using 
                         Object Base Image Analisy and Change Detection methodology. To do 
                         so, we use some softwares and tools to prepare the images and make 
                         de calculations. The ERDAS 2011 software was use to make the 
                         atmospheric correction, Atcor tool, and the software eCognition 
                         Developer to make the segmentation, secondary information (NDVI, 
                         Image subtraction) and classification of the changes in land use. 
                         Was defined 4 classes of change in land use, they was: Exposed 
                         soil, for earthwork and siltation in rivers; vegetation 
                         suppression, for exposed soil in agricultural lands and 
                         deforestation; burned lands: lose of vegetation by fire; and 
                         Revegetation, for groins in vegetation. This article have find 
                         huge changes in exposed soil caused by the earthwork of COMPERJ 
                         between 2009 to 2010, a big siltation in river bank caused by a 
                         environmental hazard (rain) in January 15 of 2011.",
